The physiological role of magnesium
Magnesium is the building block of chlorophyll in plants. It is an element that is very important in the creation of chlorophyll. In protein synthesis, magnesium ions play an important role in enzyme reactions and the formation of vitamins.

MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCIES

The first symptoms are loss of a healthy green color near the veins, followed by yellowing between the veins.
In some plants, magnesium deficiency appears in the form of spots. 
In cases of serious magnesium deficiency, the leaves will turn to a reddish-purple color. In extreme cases, the green areas disappear. 
Magnesium deficiency is first apparent in the older leaves.

Over leached magnesium of sandy soil 
Plants that require a lot of magnesium 
In low acid (pH) level.
When ammonium, calcium and potassium fertilizers have been over-used

Cabbage, corn, cucumbers, eggplants, melons, tomato, peppers, potatoes, bananas, citrus, apples and grapes.

Magnesium Nitrate

Magnesium Nitrate is a pure and crystalline fertilizer that is ideal for replenishing magnesium depleted plants. Because Nitrate facilitates the intake of magnesium, Magnisal (MgNO3) is truly a good carrier for magnesium.
Magnesium Nitrate contains %15 MgO (%9.5 Mg) and %11 Nitrate Nitrogen
Magnesium Nitrate dissolves well in water and is suitable for foliar fertilization and nutrient solutions
It can be combined with many other substances that are applied through the leaves.

APPLICATION
Magnesium nitrate can be applied directly to the leaves (foliar feeding), to the soil or in drip irrigation methods. 
Through the leaves: The fertilizer should be applied through the leaves (foliar feeding) to achieve quick and effective results in providing magnesium. 
In the soil: Just as Magnesium Nitrate can be applied to the soil as an additive, it can also be used in drip irrigation.
