INCI NAME |
Stearic acid, ceteareth-20, cetearyl alcohol, sodium polyacrylate |
DEFINITION |
Instant-cold-emulsion powder made of emulsifiers & sodium polyacrylate. Can be added to water forming instant thick creams. No heating required, saves time. Heat sensitive ingredients such as actives are safe and can be added easily. Compatible with many oils. |
USAGE |
It can be used before adding ICE Blend to water, neutralize water with TEA (triethanolamine) to pH >7 (because of stearic acid in blend), then add 5-10% of ICE Blend to water and mix (hand-held mixer) until thick & smooth, then add oils, actives and fragrance. We found that it works in cold water; however, warm or even hot water will result in a smoother texture. For external use only. |
APPLICATIONS |
Creams, lotions, serums, baby products, makeup, hair products & sun care. |
